Hey, my name is Trudy Potts. I love going camping in the mountains with my friends and family. During my first camping trip, I brought along a simple pup tent and small sleeping bag. I was so cold during the nighttime hours that I crawled out of my tent to build up the fire. I ended up sleeping next to the fire instead since the tent couldn't keep the breeze out. Today, I know the right equipment to bring on camping trips to keep warm, dry and comfortable all night long. I would like to keep my site updated about camping equipment and setup techniques that will help others stay warm as well. After all, the key to a successful camping trip is all in the preparation.
